Saints' relegation rivals have been hit with an ABH arrest.

Fulham's Aboubakar Kamara was arrested on suspicion of actual bodily harm and criminal damage after a fight at the club's training ground.

Police were called when the 23-year-old forward was involved in an incident on Monday evening.

"Police were called to a training ground in New Malden, shortly after 17.00hrs on Monday, 21 January to reports of a fight," read a statement from the Metropolitan Police.

"Officers attended. One man, in his 20s, was arrested on suspicion of ABH and criminal damage."

Fulham added in a club statement: "The subject who was arrested is banned indefinitely from Motspur Park and all club activities."

The Cottagers are currently 19th in the Premier Legaue table, eight points behind Saints.

Claudio Ranieri was appointed by Fulham in November to improve their chances of staying up after they took the decision to sack Slavisa Jokanovic.

But despite a 3-2 win against Saints, things have remained bleak for the London side.

Ranieri has been backed in the transfer window and bought in former Liverpool player Ryan Babel on a permanent deal from Turkish club Besiktas.
