SAINTS Under-18s will be the first away team to play at Tottenham’s new stadium.
Tottenham plan to play their long-awaited first competitive match at their new stadium against either Brighton or Crystal Palace in the first week of April.
But the club has announced two further test events will take place at the end of this month, which should lead to the stadium being granted a safety certificate.
They will see Spurs U18s play Saints on March 24 before a Legends match on March 30.
The new stadium will then host a Premier League match between Spurs and Palace on April 3 or against Brighton on April 6/7, subject to Brighton’s FA Cup progress.
Spurs had been due to move to the new 62,000-capacity stadium, built on the site of the old White Hart Lane, at the start of the season, but construction has been heavily delayed.
