VIRGIN Media are subsidising Saints fans’ tickets for the trip to Newcastle next month.
The club’s shirt sponsor’s involvement means that the supporters won’t have to shell out more than £20 for a ticket.
It’s the second time this season that Virgin Media have decided to help fans with the cost of watching Saints on the road.
The first occasion was for the away journey to Chelsea at the beginning of January which ended in a goalless draw.
However, given the 650-mile round trip to St James' Park, the reduction in ticket fees for this game seems more appropriate due to the cost of travel.
To make things more difficult for Saints fans, the match has been rescheduled to a 5.30pm kick-off on Saturday, 20 April.
This is down to BT Sport's decision to broadcast the match live.
