SAINTS duo Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Jan Bednarek have been called-up to their respective national teams.
Hojbjerg received the nod from Denmark which means he could play a friendly against Kosovo on Thursday, 21 March, before their Uefa Euro qualifier with Switzerland on Tuesday, 26 March.
Bednarek will help Poland kickstart their qualification for Euro 2020.
His national side will begin their campaign against Austria, away from home, on Thursday, 21 March.
Following this match, Poland will then host Latvia on the Sunday, 24 March at the National Stadium in Warsaw.
Both players have been in fine form for Saints over the last run of fixtures, which saw them beat Fulham and Tottenham but narrowly lose to Manchester United.
Fellow Saint Shane Long was last week called-up to the Republic of Ireland squad for their Uefa Euro 2020 qualifiers against Gibraltar and Georgia at the end of the month.
However, the Irishman had to limp off the pitch midway through the second half in Saturday’s win over Tottenham.
Regarding Long’s fitness, Hasenhuttl said: “He got a kick on the hamstring and I don’t know how big the injury is.
“Maybe it’s not so worse.”
