TWO thirds of Saints season-ticket holders will benefit from a price reduction next season.

The other third, those sat in the centrally located premium areas, have had the cost of their seat frozen.

Adults opting to renew early, sitting in the Kingsland and Itchen stands, will see their prices fall by £70, taking it down to £660 from £730.

The cost of an adult ticket in the family section hasn’t seen a reduction – they will remain at £541.

And for those choosing to park themselves in the corners of the ground have been given a reduction of £40, taking the overall cost down from £570 to £530, if they take advantage of renewing early.

Saints are also introducing a new season ticket which will see 2,000 fans seated in the Itchen South corner.

This will come at a cost of £399, after the club liaised with the Saints Voice panel and other supporter groups.

There has been an age increase in the young adult category from 18-21 – 18-25, as the club look to entice youngsters into St Mary’s.

For children aged under-11 sat in the Family Stand, their season ticket will cost £19, working out at £1 per match.

Supporters who opt-to-pay for their seat through finance won’t be charged interest.

Saints revealed that they would be introducing a new scheme which will allow fans to spread the cost over four separate payments in a new four-month interest-free, no-fee payment plan.

There will also be a new set of individual matchday ticket prices, although the club are yet to announce these.

For the adult supporters who don’t already have a season ticket, the most expensive seat in St Mary’s will set you back £855, with the cheapest being £541.

Before his arrival, St Mary’s had turned into a happy hunting ground for the visiting teams.

However, with the Austrian in the dugout, Saints have already beaten two top-six sides, Arsenal and Tottenham, at home in dramatic fashion.

Fans looking to renew their tickets for next season will be able to take advantage of the reduced, or frozen, prices up until Friday, 17 May.

This coincides with the return of the club’s loyalty scheme.

If supporters fail to renew their season ticket prices during the allotted time frame, Saints will reserve their seat until Tuesday, 2 June.

Saints fans looking to secure their spot at St Mary’s for the new campaign can do it at the stadium, online or via a telephone.
