SAINTS’ Premier League match at West Ham on May 4 will be a 3pm kick off, despite their hosts’ attempts to switch it to 12.30pm.

The Hammers had hoped to bring it forward so fans could also attend the Women’s FA Cup final between West Ham and Manchester City, which kicks off at 5.30pm at Wembley.

A West Ham spokesman said: "Despite the club’s very best efforts, it was decided that it wouldn't be possible due to the potential inconvenience caused to supporters who had already planned their journeys and purchased tickets.

"Therefore, the game will remain at the originally scheduled time of 3pm."

According to the Evening Standard, West Ham are ‘exploring the possibility of showing the cup final on the big screens at either end of the London Stadium’.
