Saints striker Sam Gallagher is on Blackburn Rovers' wishlist, according to the Lancashire Telegraph.
The Championship club are reported to be in the market for a new target man and have already tried signing the Saints forward twice before.
It's claimed that Rovers wanted to take the 23-year-old on loan for the season last summer, only for their move to be rejected by the St Mary's side.
Blackburn went back in for him again during the January transfer window but, again, had their advances rejected.
The national papers are suggesting that a fee of around £5 million would be enough for Saints to let the striker go.
Gallagher struggled to make an impact last season after an injury-ravaged campaign.
However, with Ralph Hasenhuttl in the market for an attacker to accompany Danny Ings up top, it's unlikely Gallagher could force his way into the Austrian's plans.
The former Plymouth youngster spent a season on loan with Rovers during the 2016/17 season, scoring 12 goals for the Ewood Park outfit.
