New Saints signing Moussa Djenepo helped Mali to a 1-1 draw with Tunisia in the Africa Cup of Nations.
The 23-year-old, who has joined the club for £14m, played the first 75 minutes of the Group E match.
Mali opened the scoring midway through the first half via an own goal from former Saints keeper Mouez Hassen, who was at the club for five months in 2017 but never played a game after being signed by Claude Puel.
However, Tunisia levelled things via Wahbi Khazri.
Mali lead the group on four points with one game left to play.
