MARIO Lemina and Charlie Austin have been left out of Saints' pre-season trip to Austria.
Ralph Hasenhuttl's side will depart today for a week of intense training, with it culminating in a match this Sunday against SCR Altach.
Although Lemina and Austin will stay behind and continue training for the upcoming Premier League campaign at Staplewood, the squad has been boosted by the return of its internationals.
Captain Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, James Ward-Prowse, Nathan Redmond, Jan Bednarek and Shane Long will be returning for pre-season.
Stuart Armstrong won't be travelling with the squad having recently suffered from food poisoning and isn't up to the required fitness yet.
Saints defender Cedric Soares has also been named in Saints' squad, following a six-month loan spell with Inter Milan.
Striker Sam Gallagher has also been left at home but Michael Obafemi is fit again and will make the pre-season trip.
Guido Carrillo and Jordy Clasie, who both returned to club last week, will also be staying at Staplewood.
Hasenhuttl wants to use week-long stint in Austria to take a look at a host of youngsters who could reach the first team next season.
Christoph Klarer, Jake Vokins, Will Smallbone and Dan N'Lundulu have all been included.
