MARIO Lemina has taken to social media to declare his "love" for Galatasaray.

Lemina joined the Turkish side on the final day of the European transfer window after spending the entire summer trying to find a new club.

And after joining Galatasaray on a season-long loan, with them also having the option to buy him on a permanent basis next year, the midfielder made it clear he was thrilled to be there.

Along with a picture of him in his new kit, he wrote: "First time training with this mythic club. I am so happy and proud to be here."

The Gabon international followed this up with another post, saying: "What an atmosphere. I am in love."

His move to Galatasaray on Monday brought an end to the saga that had been going on since the beginning of July.

He immediately made it clear when the transfer window opened that he didn't want to be at Saints for the upcoming season.

This saw Premier League sides such as Manchester United and Arsenal to get in contact with Saints, only for them to fall short of the club's valuation.

With Lemina angling for a move in public, it made it difficult for him to remain involved with Ralph Hasenhuttl's squad on a daily basis.

Because of this, the former Juventus midfielder found himself banished from first-team duties and their dressing room in Staplewood, although he made fun of this situation on Twitter with ex-Saint Carlie Austin.
