TOTTENHAM fought off a late Middlesbrough comeback to set up an FA Cup fourth-round clash with Saints at St Mary's.

Goals from Giovani Lo Celso and Erik Lamela gave Spurs a 2-0 lead at the break, with the Championship outfit netting through George Saville in the final 10 minutes.

This led to a nervy ending for Mourinho's men but they were able to hold on and book their place at St Mary's.

Lo Celso opened the scoring in just the second minute of the match when he struck his effort past Tomas Mejias in the Middlesbrough net.

Lamela was then on hand to double the Premier League side's lead shortly after.

But Boro fought back and didn't roll over, with their efforts being rewarded in the 84th minute when Saville tucked home.

Saints will play Spurs on Saturday, 25 January [3pm].
