KYLE Walker-Peters has caught Saints’ attention.

The Tottenham defender is struggling for game time at White Hart Lane and fits the bill of what Ralph Hasenhuttl is looking for in the market.

Hasenhuttl wants to bring in a full back to provide support for both Cedric and Ryan Bertrand.

With Yan Valery still recovering from a viral infection and Jake Vokins not ready for the Premier League, Saints are incredibly thin in that department.

Because of this, Hasenhuttl made it a priority of his to bolster that section of his squad for the second half of the season.

Walker-Peters has struggled to force his way into Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham plans and hasn’t featured for the north London club since December 11.

It’s been reported that Crystal Palace are also said to be keen on acquiring the defender’s services on loan, with some reports claiming he’ll hold talks with both teams this week.

Although Walker-Peters is a player on Saints’ list, the south coast side aren’t putting all their eggs in one basket and are still pursuing other options.
