RALPH Hasenhuttl was relieved that James Ward-Prowse’s knee injury is ‘not that bad’.
The Saints star was stretchered off just before half-time with what looked a serious injury after receiving gas and air following a 50-50 challenge with Ryan Sessegnon.
Shane Long reacted in horror as the cut was deep enough to reveal bone.
But Hasenhuttl said: “Happily it’s not that bad, it’s only a cut on the knee.
“If we lose the game and him for a long time it would be much worse. I don’t know how long not he’s out but not a long time like a ligament injury.”
