PIERRE-EMILE Hojbjerg has attracted interest from other clubs - but Ralph Hasenhuttl remained coy as to which ones.

The midfielder is about to enter the final 12 months of his Saints contract and is yet to state he wants to stay at St Mary's.

Hasenhuttl stripped the former Bayern Munich man of the captaincy, replacing him with academy lad James Ward-Prowse

"For sure we know when Pierre is leaving we have to find an alternative and that we have another few positions where we are a little bit struggling," Hasenhuttl explained.

"We have to keep our eyes open and be active in those positions for sure.

"As always, I don’t want to speak about any rumours [on Pierre], any possibilities. But you can be sure there are a few clubs around this."
