BRIGHTON boss Graham Potter has been hailed by Ralph Hasenhuttl.

The Saints manager believes Potter is one of the Premier League's best coaches when it comes to possession.

Earlier in the season, Saints managed to inflict a 2-0 defeat on the Seagulls, their fist top-flight victory of the campaign.

Hasenhuttl said: “I really enjoy watching them play football. For me, in possession, he is one of the best managers in the league.

“You can see his signing on the team immediately when you see them play. The job he’s done since he’s been there is fantastic.

“He made a different way. I think this is maybe the reason why he is so focused on this playing with the ball.

“It’s not the worst thing in a manager’s career if you get influenced from different football cultures and take everything you can learn. We never stop learning.

“For me, coming here to the Premier League, one of the very interesting things was to get new things off other managers.

“I had a very good development in the Bundesliga, I had fantastic clubs with Leipzig and Ingolstadt. We never stop learning and to go somewhere else to learn new things is always good.”

Although he paid tribute to Potter's Brighton side, Hasenhuttl's made it clear that he wants to win tonight's match.

He added: “We want to take as many points as possible, and we don’t want to lose any more games. The results are good, the performance is good, and we can feel that we’ve made some steps."
