RALPH Hasenhuttl can't wait for fans to return to St Mary's.

The Saints boss hopes his side have banished their poor home form in time for next season after bagging wins against Man City and Sheffield United in recent weeks.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson hinted that spectators could return to stadia in October subject to a successful run of test events.

And Hasenhuttl wants the St Mary's faithful to be able to enjoy his side's exciting brand of football upon their return.

Saints' boss said: “I absolutely hope they will come back as soon as possible to help us win games and I think they will enjoy our game.

“I think they saw what we can do and hopefully when they come back they accept the way we play.

“The fans are important for our game and maybe it’s getting more and more that we can celebrate together.”
