FULL-BACK Kyle Walker-Peters is on the brink of sealing a permanent move to Saints, according to the Mirror.

The tabloid claims the 23-year-old has now agreed personal terms with the St Mary’s side ahead of a move from Tottenham worth around £12million.

The defender, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Saints, featured 10 times for Ralph Hasenhuttl's side during his loan stay.

The Mirror claim the clubs are now waiting for Saints midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg to undergo a medical ahead of his transfer to Spurs in the opposite direction.

The deals between the two clubs are reportedly separate but will be announced at the same time.

Walker-Peters, who has represented England from under-18 to under-21 level, has played 22 times in his top-flight career, registering five assists.
