SAINTS academy graduate Harrison Reed has completed a permanent transfer to Fulham.
The midfielder, 25, spent last season on loan at the Cottagers, helping them clinch promotion to the Premier League.
And he has now tonight made that move permanent in a deal reportedly worth £8million.
Reed played 28 times for Fulham last season, including all three matches of the play-offs.
He joins Mario Lemina at the west London club, with the Saints midfielder joining on a season-long loan this evening.
Discussing Reed's departure, a post on the Saints website said: "The club would like to thank him for all his hard work and dedication throughout his time both as an academy and first-team player and we wish him all the best for the future."
After coming up through the ranks, Reed featured 30 times for Saints at senior level, making his debut in 2013.
