SAINTS and West Bromwich Albion are both lining up "late swoops" for Celtic ace Olivier Ntcham, according to MailOnline.

The Premier League pair, who face each other at St Mary's on Sunday, both reportedly see the 24-year-old as "a prospective signing" ahead of Monday's transfer deadline.

Midfielder Ntcham was previously at Manchester City from 2012 to 2017, but didn't make a single appearance for the first team.

After gaining loan experience at Genoa in Serie A, Ntcham joined Celtic in 2017 and has scored 23 goals in 133 appearances.

Saints boss Ralph Hasenhuttl is looking for a new central midfielder to replace Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, who joined Tottenham Hotspur last month.
