SOFIANE Boufal has completed a move to French outfit Angers.
The 27-year-old has returned to the club where he started his career, on the final day of the international transfer window.
Boufal, who joined Saints from Lille for £16million in 2016, played 84 times in all competitions for the St Mary’s side, scoring five goals and registering five assists.
He did not feature for Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men this season. His final game for Saints came against Norwich back in June.
Saints retain a sell-on fee clause for Boufal.
