DEFENDER Yan Valery was forced off through injury as Saints’ B Team suffered a 1-0 defeat to Blackburn in Premier League Two.
The French full-back, who skippered the side on the afternoon at Snows Stadium, had to be replaced on 78 minutes.
Watched on by first-team boss Ralph Hasenhuttl, the B team went down to a goal from Rovers’ Connor McBride.
Saints striker Michael Obafemi was also sent off for violent conduct late on as the contest reached boiling point.
