EASTLEIGH will host League One outfit MK Dons in the first round of the FA Cup.

The draw, which took place on Monday evening, saw Ben Strevens's men paired with the Dons, who are currently struggling in the relegation zone of the third tier.

The Spitfires, who compete two levels below MK Dons in the pyramid, booked their spot in the first-round proper with a 3-1 win over Weston-super-Mare on Saturday.

Discussing the draw, boss Strevens said: "MK Dons at home will be a tough tie, but one we'll obviously be looking forward to.

"They're a fantastic football club and it's actually one of my local teams where I live, so really looking to the game. It will be a good test for the boys as well against a strong team.

"It will be a tough game, but one we'll certainly try to go into looking to win the game."

The tie is due to take place behind closed doors at Silverlake Stadium on the weekend starting November 7.
