SAINTS loanee Jake Hesketh impressed for Crawley Town as they took on Reading under-23s in a behind-closed-doors friendly this afternoon.
Hesketh, who joined the Red Devils on a season-long deal last month, played 65 minutes of the goalless draw at Three Bridges.
The 24-year-old was one of the closest to breaking the deadlock, but the game finished goalless.
Featuring alongside Hesketh was TV star Mark Wright.
The 33-year-old is currently training with Crawley, returning to the field after a highly successful spell on the screen, which began after rising to fame in The Only Way Is Essex and has since included finishing runner-up to Dougie Poynter in the 2011 edition of hit show I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
Wright has previously featured at semi-professional level for the likes of Southend United and also Crawley around 15 years ago and is a regular in the charity editions of Soccer Aid.
He came through the full 90 minutes at left-back against the Royals, while Crawley also introduced goalkeeper Alfie Jones as a striker for the closing stages of the 0-0 draw.
