George Burley dedicated Saturday's 4-0 demolition of Hull to the Saints fans.

Burley has been delighted at the support his side has received despite a tricky time of late and was pleased his team broke their barren run in front of goal at home. The result came in front of the lowest ever Saturday crowd for a league game at the stadium - 18,125.That was the second lowest league attendance at St Mary's - last Tuesday's 0-0 draw with Sheffield Wednesday attracting 17,981.Saints had only managed three goals in their previous seven games but a Stern John hat-trick after Bradley Wright-Phillips' first half header changed all that in some style.Burley added: "The fans have kept the faith. I said on Tuesday I thought they were great considering it was a 0-0 draw and they had a few goals this time."Full story in today's Daily Echo
