RALPH Hasenhuttl feels Brighton are a stronger side than the Premier League table suggests, stating: "You think they must have much more points."

Hasenhuttl takes Saints along the south coast on Monday evening (8pm), looking to mastermind a third win from three attempts at the Amex since he arrived in England in December 2018.

Brighton finished 15th in the Premier League last season and currently sit a spot lower after 10 games this term with 10 points, seven fewer than Hasenhuttl's charges.

"When you watch them playing, you think they must have much more points," said Hasenhuttl of Graham Potter's Seagulls.

"Last season it was the same.

"A really tough opponent to play against and they do a good job there. It is always tough to go there and to win games.

"We have a good record there since I’m here, but there are no guarantees.

"We have to go there and give the best we have and then hopefully it’s enough to take points."
