ARSENAL could be without both Dani Ceballos and Pablo Mari for their upcoming double-header against Saints.

The Gunners are set to visit St Mary's on Saturday (12.15pm) in the fourth round of the FA Cup, before returning four days later in the Premier League.

But they could be without their Spanish duo for both fixtures.

Centre-back Mari is definitely ruled out of the cup tie with a calf problem, but is due to return to training next week.

However Ceballos, on loan from Real Madrid, could play in the cup contest.

The 24-year-old missed Monday night's Premier League fixture against Newcastle with a tight calf and Arsenal say he will be "assessed" in the coming days before undergoing a late fitness test.

Arsenal won the FA Cup for a record 14th time last season.

Saints drew 1-1 with the Gunners at Emirates Stadium earlier this campaign.
