SAINTS are set to be boosted by the return to fitness of Nathan Redmond.

The winger has been absent for the past six fixtures due to a muscle injury, but could return to play a part against Arsenal tomorrow (8.15pm).

Redmond's comeback will be a welcome relief to boss Ralph Hasenhuttl, who is set to still be without nine players for the Premier League clash with the Gunners.

"This is the only good news, that Reddy is back," said Hasenhuttl.

"He was training today with the team for the first time and will tomorrow sit on the bench. Maybe not able for a long-term, but for a short-term, coming in I think will be a good step for him.

"Ori (Romeu) it’s still a little bit too early, can be an option for the weekend and Jannik (Vestergaard) also is not far away from coming back. It’s getting a little bit better hopefully in the next one or two weeks. It would be necessary because we have a lot of games coming up again."

Saints are also set to be without the suspended Ryan Bertrand as well as injured Mohammed Salisu, Will Smallbone, Michael Obafemi, Nathan Tella and Moussa Djenepo, while Kyle Walker-Peters is a doubt due to a quad problem.
