ARSENAL will once again be without captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for tonight's trip to Saints.

The striker was due to be part of the squad for Saturday's FA Cup clash, but pulled out late on due to "a personal matter".

And the Gunners have today confirmed Aubameyang will also be absent for this evening's Premier League contest at St Mary's because of "family reasons".

Aubameyang scored in the reverse fixture at Emirates Stadium this season, where the game ended in a 1-1 draw.

Arsenal will also have to once again contend without Spanish duo Dani Ceballos and Pablo Mari.

Both players were unavailable at the weekend and are still not yet ready to return due to calf problems.

The Gunners could see left-back Kieran Tierney return, as he continues to be assessed for "discomfort" to his right calf.

Saints themselves are likely to be without nine players for tonight's visit of Arsenal (8.15pm).

Nathan Redmond is set to return to the squad, but the list of absentees has grown with Ryan Bertrand suspended and Kyle Walker-Peters a doubt due to a quad problem.

Will Smallbone, Jannik Vestergaard, Michael Obafemi, Nathan Tella, Oriol Romeu, Mohammed Salisu and Moussa Djenepo are all still injured.
