MORE Saints legends have been announced in the build-up to All In This Together, an online event to raise money for Saints Foundation.

The event will be streamed live from St Mary’s from 8pm on Thursday, March 4.

And Saints Foundation have now announced the evening will include exclusive interviews with both Lawrie McMenemy and James Beattie. The pair will be reminiscing about their history with the club and also discuss the work they have recently been undertaking with the Foundation.

Both Saints heroes have been working with the Foundation to support the community in lockdown, with McMenemy making calls to check in with isolated older adults, and Beattie recently donating a number of iPads to a local primary school.

They join an array of previously announced Saints greats, including current first-team players Danny Ings and James Ward-Prowse, as well as old favourites Matt Le Tissier, Franny Benali, Wayne Bridge and Terry Paine. The evening will be hosted by Kenzie Benali.

All funds raised go towards Saints Foundation, raising money to continue transforming lives in and around Southampton when it’s needed most. The charity has missed out on £300,000 of expected fundraising income since the pandemic began. This event hopes to raise funds for Saints Foundation’s projects at a time when their support has never been more important to people in the community.

The event includes a silent auction, where you can get your hands on exclusive Saints signed merchandise and unique experiences, including a chance to play on the pitch at St Mary’s. There will also be a Captain’s Raffle – an assortment of James Ward-Prowse prizes including a call with the man himself – with the winner announced on the night.

Tickets are just £25 and are on sale until 6pm on Thursday, March 4 via www.saintsauction.com
