BOSS Ralph Hasenhuttl admitted his delight to have Danny Ings and Theo Walcott back in action for Saints.
England frontman Ings registered a goal and an assist during Sunday’s 3-2 victory over Burnley, while Walcott provided the cross for Nathan Redmond’s 66th-minute winner.
The pair had both been out of action in recent weeks with muscle problems.
Asked about the return of Ings, Hasenhuttl said: “I am happy to have him back fit on the pitch.
“He worked quite hard in the week and he immediately played for a very long time.
“Theo and him were the two players (coming back). Normally it’s always dangerous to start with two players who have been long injured because you know they are not ready for 90 minutes.
“But they did a good job for a long time. Hopefully everything is okay with them and we can keep on building up them for the next games.”
