JOSE Mourinho has been sacked as manager of Tottenham Hotspur, just two days before they play Saints in the Premier League.
The Portuguese boss has been dismissed by Spurs after just 17 months in charge.
The news comes after Tottenham last night announced they were part of the 12 clubs set to form a proposed European Super League.
The Athletic report Ryan Mason and Chris Powell are now in temporary charge at Spurs.
Saints are set to visit Tottenham in the Premier League on Wednesday (6pm).
