SAINTS “remain interested” in bringing in Manchester United youngster Brandon Williams this summer, according to a report in The Sun.
The publication claims promoted Norwich have also joined the race to land the England under-21 international next season.
Williams was reportedly an option for Saints back in January, with manager Ralph Hasenhuttl stating he was keen to bring in a full-back to add to his squad.
But Williams stayed with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men – despite seeing his game time limited at Old Trafford this season.
The 21-year-old played 36 times for the Red Devils in his breakthrough campaign in 2019-20.
But Williams has featured just 11 times in all competitions this term – including coming off the bench for the latter stages of United’s 3-2 win over Saints at St Mary’s back in November.
West Ham are also linked with the Manchester-born defender.
