SAINTS are reportedly one of a number of Premier League clubs monitoring talented midfielder Billy Gilmour, according to the Daily Mail.
The publication claims Norwich want to sign the Chelsea youngster on a season long loan, following their return to the Premier League.
But the report from the Mail claims Newcastle and Saints are also among his admirers.
Gilmour shot to further stardom having impressed on his first start for Scotland in their 0-0 Euro 2020 draw with England at Wembley on Friday.
He has since returned a positive test for COVID-19, meaning he missed out as the Scots were beaten 3-1 by Croatia to end their tournament on Tuesday.
Gilmour started his youth career at Rangers before heading south of the border to join Chelsea in 2017. He has since gone on to play 22 times for the Blues at senior level.
Football Insider also claim Wolves have registered an interest in the Irvine-born star.
