SAINTS Women have learned their fixture schedule for the upcoming FA Women’s National League Southern Premier season – their first season in the improved division.

Marianne Spacey-Cale’s side were granted promotion at the end of the 2020-21 term, following its early curtailment due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

They will now kick off their campaign by hosting MK Dons on August 15, before travelling to Plymouth Argyle the following Sunday for the first away fixture of the season.

Their final two games will see them play host to Oxford United before travelling to newly promoted Ipswich town to round out the footballing year.

The side are due to play two big fixtures against local rivals Pompey in the league, taking place in October and March.

The trip to Portsmouth comes first on October 24 before welcoming them on March 6.
