George Burley felt his side learned their lessons from the Watford defeat as they strolled to a 2-0 FA Cup third round victory over Leicester.

They arguably played some better football in the 3-0 New Year's Day defeat to the Hornets but were physically stronger and more ruthless at both ends of the field against the Foxes.

In the end they won at a canter to book their place in Monday's fourth round draw.

Burley said: "It was a good, professional performance.

"We worked hard and battled away because they've brought in one or two strong strikers but we did very well, took the lead first half and looked very comfortable.

"We had to be stronger in either box against Watford.

"We had most of the play but that doesn't mean anything if you're not strong in either box.

"We were very strong in our box against Leicester and headed it out and were better in their box so we learnt from it."
