George Burley described his side's FA Cup third round win over Leicester as a "professional performance."

Saints were not at their best but were comfortable winners against the Foxes, digging in when they had to and defending solidly and as a team to ensure the 2-0 win.The victory ended a six game winless streak for Burley's side and showed a gritty side to the team that has often been lacking during that period. He said: "It was a good, professional performance. We worked hard and battled away because they've brought in one or two strong strikers but we did very well, took the lead first half and looked very comfortable."Full story: see today's Daily Echo
