ENGLAND Women will return to St Mary's next month, hosting North Macedonia in a World Cup qualifier.

The contest on Friday, September 17 (7pm) will be new boss Sarina Wiegman's first game in charge of the Lionesses.

England last played at St Mary's in 2018, drawing 0-0 with Wales.

Wiegman was appointed in September, but will only now take charge as the nation begin their quest to qualify for the 2023 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

England have never faced North Macedonia. They are both in Group D alongside Austria, Latvia, Luxembourg and Northern Ireland.

Tickets for the match will go on sale exclusively to England Supporters Travel Club and My England Football members from 10am this Thursday, before general sale begins at midday on Friday.

England will return to St Mary's next summer, with the stadium one of 10 set to host the 2022 Women's Euros.
