Covid-19 entry checks

Crucially, for the first THREE home games (Manchester United, West Ham and Wolves), proof of Covid-19 status WILL NOT be a mandatory requirement of entry.

However, the club will be enforcing some checks as a test run to prepare for a potential mandatory introduction later on.

The checks include proof of Covid-19 status via the NHS app – which can be obtained through double vaccination or a negative lateral flow test result within the last 48 hours.

This is NOT mandatory for the first three home fixtures, and you will not be turned away if you cannot provide it – but it could become mandatory pending future Government and Premier League guidance.

People who don’t own smart phones that can display the NHS app are told to bring paper copies of covid certification – however are warned that these can take up to five days to arrive.

The club warn you to stay away if you have symptoms, and to understand and follow the Supporter Code of Conduct provided.

The Code of Conduct warns that anyone caught partaking in an act that is intended to transmit Covid-19 to another person will be ejected from the stadium, reported to police and could receive club sanctions not limited to a lifetime ban.

Be assured that players, coaches and staff will all face Covid-19 status checks.
