SAINTS have been drawn to face Chelsea in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.

The tie will take place at Stamford Bridge.

The draw was conducted by Micah Richards and former Saints boss Harry Redknapp.

Saints booked their spot in the last 16 after triumphing on penalties at Sheffield United on Tuesday evening.

Goals from Ibrahima Diallo and Mohammed Salisu earned a 2-2 draw, before Hasenhuttl's men won 4-2 on spot-kicks.

In the previous round, a Moi Elyounoussi hat-trick helped Saints to an 8-0 hammering of League Two Newport County.

Chelsea overcame Aston Villa on penalties to secure their spot in the last 16.

Fourth-round Carabao Cup ties are due to take place on the week commencing October 25.

Either side of that fixture, Saints are scheduled to play Burnley at home (October 23) and Watford away (October 30) in the Premier League.
