EASTLEIGH will head to fellow National League side Boreham Wood in the first round proper of the FA Cup - if they can overcome Folkestone Invicta.

Spitfires looked set for a shock exit from the famous cup competition against a Folkestone side who sit two divisions below them in the non-league pyramid.

However, trailing 3-0, Ben Strevens's men stormed back to draw 3-3 with Ryan Hill and Tyrone Barnett on target before Christian Maghoma rescued the tie deep into stoppage time.

The two sides will now face-off again in a replay in Kent on Tuesday evening.

And the draw for the next round has now taken place.

The first round sees professional clubs from Leagues One and Two enter the competition.

But Spitfires have avoided any of those, knowing victory over Folkestone would book a trip to Boreham Wood.

Luke Garrard's men sit second in the National League table, 11 places and 12 points ahead of Eastleigh.

Spitfires drew 1-1 with The Wood at Silverlake Stadium earlier this month.

First-round ties will be played between November 5-8.
