GOALSCORER Armando Broja was not resting on his laurels after he scored the winner against Leeds, vowing that the Saints side would “just work hard” throughout this week to execute a gameplan against Burnley.
Saints are bidding to win back-to-back games since the duo of 3-1 wins over Crystal Palace and Fulham at St Mary’s back in May of the 2020-21 campaign.
After seven without victory, despite some impressive performances against teams that will inhabit the upper reaches of the Premier League table, the hope is that one set of maximum points will now kick off a good run of form.
Saints still face a nice run of games with Watford, Aston Villa and Norwich to come after the visit of Burnley – although the Villa visit, which is the potential return of forward Danny Ings, is sandwiched by two away trips.

“We’re just going to work hard throughout next week.” Broja said, looking ahead to the Burnley fixture.
“We’re going to carry on, we’re going to have a gameplan for that game as well and we’re just going to have to try and execute it like we did (against Leeds).
“Hopefully this is the kickstart to our season, racking up the wins. Hopefully we can do the same.”
He continued: “The fans were amazing (against Leeds), they were on our side and hopefully (on Saturday) as well the fans will be behind us, they’ll be cheering for us, we’ve just got to deliver the three points.”
