RALPH Hasenhuttl confirmed that Armando Broja is available for selection during Aston Villa’s visit to St Mary’s, after he missed Saints' 1-0 win at Watford.

The Chelsea loanee sat out as Che Adams and Adam Armstrong linked up for the Scottish international to fire a superb winner in and secure all three points last weekend.

He had picked up an injury whilst celebrating his goal at St Mary's in the 2-2 draw against Burnley, his second strike in consecutive starts.

Saints manager Hasenhuttl gave an update on his squad which ruled that he has a full complement to choose from, with the exception of injured defender Jack Stephens.

The news comes as a boost, given that Nathan Redmond was one player who hadn’t been pictured in training early in the week.

Albanian international Broja was seen alongside the rest of the Saints squad and Hasenhuttl confirms he will be good to face Aston Villa.

Speaking ahead of the contest, Hasenhuttl said: “He’s back, he’s available for the weekend.

“The rest apart from Jack Stephens are all also fit so I have the full decision.”

Hasenhuttl’s comments confirm that despite missing the early portion of training, Redmond will be available and all others who have taken knocks in recent weeks are all fit.

The match with Villa is the final game before the upcoming international break.
