TWO of Saints academy’s shining stars will represent England under-17 as Kamari Doyle and Dom Ballard receive call-ups to the Young Lions.
Both of the youngsters are just 16-years-old but made their debut for David Horseman’s B team incredibly aged 15.
The pairing started in Saints B’s 4-0 win over League Two outfit Crawley Town in the EFL Trophy this week, and have been rewarded for their superb form in the Under-18 Premier League and Premier League 2.
Doyle is a centre-midfielder in a similar mould to James Ward-Prowse, with a proficiency for free-kicks.
Ballard plays as an advanced forward, or can operate as an attacking winger depending on the shape of the team deployed.
Both are highly fancied within Saints’ academy to have a long and successful career, given the impact they’ve already made so young.
