MOI Elyounoussi played the full 90’ as Norway missed a huge chance to step closer to Qatar 2022 World Cup qualification.
His nation drew 0-0 at home to Latvia to see them drop to third in the group on goal difference, two points behind leaders Netherlands and just one goal difference behind Turkey.
Elyounoussi was denied a late goal for Norway as VAR declared his effort offside in the 81st minute.
A win would have seen them take a two-point advantage over Turkey going into Norway’s final game, which is against group leaders Netherlands in Amsterdam.
Turkey, meanwhile, travel to Montenegro, and will be hopeful needing to just better whatever result Elyounoussi and Norway can get.
