FORMER West Ham youngster Kai Corbett, who trialled with Saints in October, has now signed terms with Championship outfit Peterborough United.
The Daily Echo were the first to break the identity of the 19-year-old attacker, who featured for Dave Horseman’s B team as they picked up their first win of the 2021-22 season against Wolves.
But the trial didn’t work out as all would have hoped and he did not sign a deal with Saints, coming weeks after he had also had a trial with fellow Premier League side Wolves.
He departed West Ham in the summer hoping to find a club with a clearer first-team pathway for him.
Really happy and excited to have signed with Peterborough! Can’t wait to work with all the players and staff at such a great club!

Corbett featured regularly for Hammers’ under-18 and under-23 side last season and is a hotly-rated youngster who has attracted attention from clubs up and down the country with a trial at Manchester United in 2020.
Around the same time, aged 17, Corbett had trialled for Bristol City’s under-23 team – a young side that have produced a vast number of first-team players for the South West club in the last few seasons.
