SAINTS duo Stuart Armstrong and Che Adams have handed Saints a boost by returning to training.
An ongoing calf injury has kept Armstrong out since the start of November, whilst Adams missed Saints’ previous two games.
With Armstrong a key cog in Hasenhuttl’s tactics, combined with the fact Che Adams had three goals in his last five, the return of the Scottish internationals will be a big positive for Saints.
Whilst Hasenhuttl did not reveal if the pair would be in contention for the Boxing Day clash away at West Ham, he did state: "The injury situation is also getting better. Stu [Armstrong] is back in sessions and Che Adams is back in the session, and that’s so far the situation how it is.”
The Austrian also offered a word of caution, adding: "But it can change every day, as I said."
