EASTLEIGH star David Smith retained his title at the boccia European Championships.
Paralympic medallist Smith took the honours in Seville, defeating old rival Mikhail Gutnik of Russia 5-2 in the final.
Smith booked his place in the showpiece event with a crushing 8-1 triumph over Portugal's Andre Ramos in the semis.
āIām ecstatic to retain my title from five years ago ā ironically enough, the same final against Mikhail," said Smith.
"It was a really tournament with a really high standard and my competitors pushed me all the way."
Fellow Brits Steph McGuire of Scotland and Northern Ireland's Claire Taggart also picked up medals on the same day as Smith.
Smith, 32, has won gold medals and three Paralympic Games, in Beijing, Rio de Janeiro and last year in Tokyo.
He also claimed gold and silver in London in 2012.
