WOLVES are set to be without as many as six first-teamers for the visit of Saints on Saturday.

Bruno Lage’s side went into their most recent clash with Manchester United with the same list of absentees and yet managed to come away with a 1-0 win.

Portuguese Joao Moutinho’s long-range strike was enough to seal all three points for Wolves in that one.

And speaking ahead of the Saints clash, Lage confirmed it will be the same players he will have to line up without once again.

Defender Willy Boly (calf), dynamic forward Hwang Hee-Chan (thigh), Jonny Castro Otto (knee), Petro Neto (knee) and Yerson Mosquera (thigh) are all out through injury.

Meanwhile, the impressive Romain Saiss is currently away with his country, Morocco, competing at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Neto, who is out with a knee concern, has been dangerous versus Saints in recent fixtures with three goals in the last five league meetings – of which they are undefeated.

Wolves will take confidence from their Premier League win over Red Devils, but it is a boost for Saints who welcome the return of Kyle Walker-Peters from COVID.

The likes of Che Adams, who also had a spell on the sidelines following a bout of the virus, continue to get up to full speed.
