THE resurgence of Fraser Forster has presented manager Ralph Hasenhuttl with a slight headache.

Former Celtic 'keeper Forster marked his 150th appearance in a Saints shirt at the weekend with a cleansheet, prompting press to ask Hasenhuttl if the Newcastle academy product would be offered a new deal.

The Austrian was coy in his response, with Saints keeping their cards close to their chest with all four of their first-team goalkeepers believed to be out of contract at the end of this campaign.

With Alex McCarthy returning to training in recent weeks, it appears that there will be another hard choice for Hasenhuttl to make in terms of who starts in goal.

Veteran Willy Caballero was drafted in as an emergency stand-in after both Forster and McCarthy were sidelined, indicating that Harry Lewis, the fourth 'keeper in the first-team picture, will not be offered a new deal.

Caballero impressed enough to earn an extension to the end of this season, before putting in a solid display against Coventry in the FA Cup, with an array of saves late on to send Saints through to the fifth round.

With all that considered, who would you like to see remain at the club next season?

Should Saints stick with what they've got, or twist and try to bring in a new number one?
