SAINTS will provide 3,000 travelling fans free yellow and blue scarves to show their support for Ukraine during the trip to Aston Villa, the club has announced.

The side will be wearing their yellow and blue away kit, the colours of Ukraine, during the Premier League clash on Saturday.

Saints reveal that they have teamed up with partners Sportsbet.io, who have an office in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv, to provide the free scarves to supporters. They will be on supporters’ seats ahead of kick-off.

Saints’ chief commercial officer, David Thomas, told the club website: “As a club, we felt it was important to recognise the shocking events of the past few weeks and use our platform to show our support for the people of Ukraine.
